If you are facing an urgent issue or are feeling overwhelmed with debt and are unsure what steps to take next, you can talk with a FISC financial counselor Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call us at 800-366-8161. Can I talk with someone before entering a lot of information?

You can talk with a Counselor on Call without having to enter any information. Just call (800) 366-8161 and ask to set up a free initial assessment with a counselor.

If you decide to work with us, we will need to know more about your income, expenses, and debt. The information you give us will help us to understand your concerns, and build a plan to help you.

What if you can’t help me?

Many people call us on the phone just to tell us about their situation and see if we can help. Most people feel relief after talking with someone about their situation and learning more about their options. We also help people connect with other community resources.

I need to talk with someone & I don’t know what to do.

Many people are anxious and nervous about their financial situation and don’t know what to do. Expect your counselor to listen and help you understand your options. We’re not here to judge you; we’re here to help.
