Children at the Building for Kids Children’s Museum in Appleton will have the opportunity to learn the basics of financial literacy through interactive play during a special free event from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 31.

There also will be story time at 1, 2:30 and 4:15 p.m. featuring the book “Count on Pablo,” by Barbara deRubertis.

While supplies last, children will receive a free book and free admittance to the museum, 100 W. College Ave. Seating is limited. All children must be accompanied by an adult. To learn more, visit www.mswfoxcities.weebly.com.

Money Smart Week (March 30-April 6) is a national public awareness campaign created by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in 2002 that is designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances.
