Is there a charge for this service?

There is a one-time $25 charge for counseling. You do not need to pay the counseling fee again, even if you have several appointments. Counseling is provided regardless of your ability to pay. If you believe you are unable to pay the counseling fee, please talk with a counselor. We may be able to waive counseling fees.

If you sign up for a Debt Management Plan, there is a fee of 10% of the monthly payment up to $50 per month to administer the plan.

We can keep our fees low because we receive donations from people who care about our work. We also receive funding from the United Way, solicit grants from local and national organizations, and receive financial support from creditors (banks, retailers, credit unions, etc.)
